Ibiza West Boat Route

Ses Salines - Cap des Falcó - Es Porroig - Sa Pedrera (Atlantis) - Es Vedrà - EXTRA Cala d'Hort

It is a different route with quieter coves, fewer boats and fewer people. Boat route possible when the winds are from Tramontana and Levante.

Perfect for discovering and getting to know the most beautiful landscapes and areas of the southwest of Ibiza and to see the imposing islet of Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell up close.

Las Salinas (Ses Salines)

First stop, the nature reserve of Las Salinas (Ses Salines). One of the most popular beaches with turquoise waters, restaurants and exclusive beach clubs. We will anchor before reaching the beach (marked on the map), this area is perfect to see the Posidonia meadows in their purest state. We will also visit Cala Pluma, marked on the map, the bottoms are sandy and the place is unique, the anchorage is between 5 and 8 meters deep.

Cap des Falcó

Second stop. A few minutes we have Cap des Falcó, a peak located on top of an impressive mountain with a cliff between the beaches of Ses Salines and es Codolar. A unique and peaceful landscape where we will see the mountain streaks and the cliff above us from the boat. Sandy bottoms with some rocks and depths between 3-12m.

Es Porroig

We will make the third stop in a very quiet cove, with crystal clear waters and full of fishermen’s huts (dry docks). Highly covered by Tramontana and Levante winds, also southeast. Depths between 2-7m with many areas of posidonia. On the map is marked an area with a sandy bottom perfect for anchoring and snorkeling in these waters.

Sa Pedrera (Atlantis)

Fourth stop of the route, the old quarry of marès at the edge of the sea, with natural pools inside. History tells us that this is where the stone was extracted to build part of the walls of the castle of Ibiza. We have a great depth between 8-15m, sandy bottoms just before arriving and a cove that can only be reached by boat. We can also approach its carved stones swimming or with our paddle surf and we can climb them to take a bath. A unique experience.

Cala d'Hort / Es Vedrà

Fifth stop of our boat route around Ibiza and not less special, the visit to the large islet of Es Vedrà and es Vedranell. With the inflatable we can pass between them and then end up anchoring in Cala d’Hort. Enjoy one of the most magical places on the island, wrapped in stories and legends that will leave you mesmerized. We will also be able to see the most famous sunset of Ibiza from the boat, much better than from the famous viewpoint.

We will put an end to our route through the southwest of Ibiza and return to the port in a sailing trip of less than an hour .
